Welcome To Yarnell Legion Post 79

Commander’s Column

As the Commander of American Legion Post 79 in Yarnell, I would like to invite everyone to stop by the Post. Thank you all that attended the Post and our events in February.
Well it certainly remembered how to snow. The snow played havoc with our schedules, meals and so forth. We should be back on track now with our meals and everything. I would like to thank everyone for their patience while we dug ourselves out enough to make sure that everyone would stay safe. A special thanks to Rena and her ability to shovel snow I could not have done it without her help.

I’m looking forward to getting things back to normal. I’m also looking forward to our joint meeting on March 16 at 11 AM. It is long overdue in my opinion. We will have a lot to discuss. We will all have to work together if we hope to accomplish what we need to.
I’m looking into different options on what we need to do with the roof. That may take a little more time but when it’s done it needs to be done correctly.

For God and Country,
Gary Adams, Commander, American Legion Post 79
