"Where The Warm Desert Breeze Meets The Cool Mountain Air"

A.L.R. August 2012

Thanks to all who have helped out at our last two events: On our 5th Friday dinner and at the end of June: Jackson West, Nancy Seriani, Bill Grose and Juanita Moffitt. Unfortunately, we had more riders come to eat dinner from ALR 6 than we had from our own chapter!

Thanks to our great workers on the July 4th Patio Party: Juanita Moffitt, Bill Grose, Nancy Seriani & Jackson West and Dave & Pat Plotner.

Thanks to Jay Bostwick for making a great slide show of our trip to ALR 57 in Ash Fork to welcome the Run For The Wall Riders. Once again, we had more riders from ALR 29 and 91 and the Valley than we did from our own Post!

Thanks a million to our volunteers.

CONGRATS TO OUR NEW OFFICERS!

Director: John Moffitt

Assistant Director: Jackson West

Secretary: Juanita Moffitt

Finance Officer: Juanita Moffitt

Run Coordinator: Jay Bostwick

Sergeant At Arms: Jackson West

Many thnks to outgoing Secretary Nancy Seriani who did a great job for us this past year.

Although we are nt meeting for a while, WE WILL STILL BE DOING RIDES!

Whenever there is a PGR ride I’m going on I will send a group email to all of our members. And, our new run coordinator, Jay Bostwick, will be sending out emails on proposed rides too. Of course, if any of you want to set up a ride feel free to send out an email to all the members and invite them along. At least we can ride over the next few months if we’re not going to do anything else!

Watch for next month’s column – REBUILDING ALR 79!

As always, please let us know what we can do to get you to start coming to meetings, going on rides, participate in fundraisers, etc. and to make Our Chapter better. We should be geared to doing two things: One, going on rides and having fun; and Two, raising money (and having fun doing it) to benefit or ALR charities, troops, vets and children.

For God and Country,

John Moffitt, assistant Director & Run Coordinator
