American Legion AuxillarySince its beginning in 1919, The American Legion Auxiliary has reached nearly 1 million members. The Auxiliary participates and outlines hundreds of volunteer programs. They volunteer tens of thousands of hours to communities veterans. Raising millions of dollars to support auxillary programs and worthy charities throughout America.

Originally formed to assist The American Legion, the Auxiliary now has its own unique identity. They work along side veterans of The American Legion. The Auxiliary’s interests, fund raising and volunteer work has grown to encompass their entire communities.

The American Legion Auxiliary is the world’s largest women’s patriotic service organization. There is now almost 10,500 chapters in every state and some foreign countries. The Auxiliary embodies the spirit of America that has prevailed through war and peace. Along with The American Legion, it solidly stands behind America and her ideals.
